Lignes rouges

     The street-artist, Louis Pavageau aka Ligne Rouge, graduated with Honors at the Cergy-Paris' School of Fine Arts, after having studied a few years in Le Port (Reunion Island)' School of Fine Arts, was born in 1982, and spent a large part of his life in Reunion Island. He has been passionaltely involved with graffiti art since 1996, with 3HS, the group he works with, in other word his Crew. He was a member of «Le M.U.R» (Paris) and «L.E.R.K.A.» (Forum for research and creation in contemporary art) (Saint-Denis Reunion Island) associations. He got involved in 2007 in the Place Verte (Paris 11th), then during the following two years, did numerous intervention in the city (European Heritage Days 2008, Leu Tempo festival 2009), participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions in France, Reunion Island, and Belgium. His last residency took place in september 2009 in Brazil, where he was finishing an artistic fellowship at the Sacatar Institute, Itaparica, Salvador, Baya as part of «French Year in Brazil».

• 2006 : Graduated with honors from the Cergy-Paris' School of Fine Arts
• August 2007 : Intervention in 2007 in the Place Verte in Paris with the association «Le M.U.R - The Wall»
• January-July 2008 : Artistic fellowship with the association «L.E.R.K.A.» (Forum for research and creation in contemporary art), in Saint Denis, Reunion Island
• February 2008 : Acquisition of several works by the Regional Fund For Contemporary Art in Reunion Island
• March 2008 : Auctions dedicated to Street Arts in Saint Cloud Hotel Sales, sale of a work to a private collector
• June 2008 : Group exhibition of the association «Le M.U.R - The Wall» in JL Beaubourg Gallery
• September 2008 : Solo exhibition «Saint-Denis 2008» in the Center of Visual Art, St Denis, Reunion Island
• 21-22 September 2008 : Performance on a former station for the European Heritage Days 2008 (Command by the city of St Denis, Reunion Island)
• October 2008 : Group exhibition «400ml» in «La maison des Métallos» in Paris
• December 2008 : Workshop on the theme « How to intervene in public space » for Le Port (Reunion Island)' School of Fine Arts
• February 2009 : Deputy curator of the exhibition « Inversion » by Richard Purdy in Saint Denis, Reunion Island
• 12-16 may 2009 : Performance on a gateway for the Leu Tempo Festival 2009
• June 2009 : Performance in the Castel of Fernelmont in Belgium
• July-September 2009 : Artistic fellowship at the Sacatar Institute, Itaparica, Salvador, Baya as part of «French Year in Brazil» in 2009
